Benefits from taking on apprenticeships with some of the region’s biggest employers were the focus of an event for parents and carers this week.
A huge range of apprenticeship opportunities available to youngsters were showcased at the Teesworks Skills Academy on Thursday evening.
The first of the three full booked sessions saw a turnout of 70, with more than a dozen providers offering exhibits on what they have to offer across the trio of events.
SeAH Wind, the NHS, and Altrad were among the firms and organisations represented.
The fully booked events were aimed at parents and carers in particular to show off the range of opportunities available for their children.
The Combined Authority oversees the Adult Education Budget in the region, while the Teesworks Skills Academy plays a vital role to ensure major employers on the huge Teesworks site are getting a pipeline of talented employees coming through with the help of educational institutions.
